Home Schooling (Final Draft)

Home schooling is the process of educating school-aged children at home rather than at a school. In most countries in the world, governments make the children attend schools in which they are educated by trained teachers who use a certain curriculum. However, many significant parents believe that it is better for their children to be educated at home by some people who know the needs of the children very well. In my opinion, I am against home schooling. In this essay I will examine why I am against home schooling and I will show my evidences. In addition to the counter opinion.

On one hand, there are an increasing number of parents in addition to I who prefer and support  to send the children to the schools. There are many reasons in favor of sending children to schools. Firstly, the children will interact with each other. Secondly, they will develop their social skills. Thirdly, the children will learn to work, play, and interact with their friends outside the family. Fourthly, they will not be dependent on their parents in their emotional and social needs. Fifthly, the children will find it easier to depend on themselves  and to be responsible for themselves, when they catch up with the university or start work.

Moreover, there are many evidences which support my point of view. The first point is that home schooling produces coward children. The second point is that the children will live in isolation from the rest of the world. The third point is that the children grow up completely dependent on their parents. The fourth point is that the children will not be ready for university as the other students who go to schools.

On the other hand, the counter opinion thinks that the traditional schools are not suitable for educating children. There are many parents think that home schooling is the best option for their children and there are many reasons for this thought. Firstly, the parents are unhappy with the quality of the education which is offered in the schools. Secondly, they think that the schools have large classes. These classes are staffed by teachers without sufficient knowledge about the subjects which they teach. Thirdly, subjects such as language and religion may not be available in the school.  Another reason is that many parents may disagree with the aims of the school curriculum. They prefer to keep their children separate for cultural, academic, or social reasons which are not offered well in schools. Finally, some children with special needs may need particular parental care

To sum up, while many  parents work hard to teach their children at home, schools are still  the right way and choice to educate the children. Schools are the perfect and the ideal way of preparing our children for the real world.
